Carded Blister Packaging
A pre-moulded PVC or PET mould heat sealed onto a printed blister card for retail display.
What is it
Carded blister packaging consists of a pre-moulded plastic shell which encapsulates the product with a backing card. The moulded plastic is transparent to allow full product visibility and the backing card can be printed on for maximum shelf impact.
How it works
The plastic mould is pre-moulded to the shape of the product. It encapsulates the product and adhered to the backing card with a heat sealing process. The backing card can have a lozenge hole for rack display or it can be displayed in a display carton or tray. Some packs can be designed to free stand on a shelf with the inclusion of a built in “foot”.
