Being a flexible and a highly motivated self-starter, reporting directly to the Operations Manager you will be accountable for project works, equipment validation, engineering and maintenance programs, processes, systems and standards. You’ll provide technical expertise and be a champion in trouble shooting technical issues while managing and facilitating continuous Improvement idea’s while meeting and exceeding the growing needs of our strong and busy pharmaceutical contract packaging facility.


Being passionate about proactive preventative maintenance and improving processes, thus reducing the need for reactive repairs & maintenance of all equipment, you will be expected to manage and utilise your direct team to determine your own projects program as well as set and meet agreed KPI's.

Your experience in High Speed Pharmaceutical Packaging Lines, namely; Foil Blister packing/cartoning/shrink wrapping, Bottle filling/capping/labelling and Carded Blister Lines, along with secondary equipment such as jet printers, variable speed conveyors, vision systems, check weighers, and even robotics as well as plant equipment such as HVAC, water chillers and air compressors will put you in the position to progressively think and challenge your attitude to recommend projects providing methods and modifications to increase efficiency and quality.

All this combined with your excellent literacy, communication and time management skills will be an advantage to become a part of our dynamic team.

Necessary Qualifications include:

  • Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering background with an emphasis on PLC’s, Servo Drives, Electrical, Pneumatic and Mechanical applications
  • Knowledge of WHS Regulations
  • Knowledge of current TGA GMP Code of Practice
  • Ability to manage, guide and motivate a team


You are progressive and have a can do attitude with a personal interest in modern process & packaging equipment with capacity to further your knowledge that will assist you in complex technical problem solving and developing innovative solutions.
